This is a painting of the Rainbow Falls in New York.
Acrylic on canvas. Ok, so the camera I took this with wasn't all that great and the quality is horrible. Please take that into consideration, and parts of the edges are cropped off because I couldn't get the camera angle straight and couldn't get a decent picture. There's also a little glare from the flash. Eventually I will find a way to upload a way better picture of this, until then, please bear with me, because I have some more paintings coming that will look just as bad.  Its quite beautiful in its way. I would hope for
more detail to replace the dark area on the right...but the piece certainly shows a good eye, sensitivity, and admirable technique... regards I've been thinking about adding a little more to the black spaces. I was told the same thing by a judge in an art show I had it in and it made me think a little. This was only my second painting though and I was still trying to figure out what I was doing. Thank you so much for your comment.
