Thawing a Heart.
Picked up your heart on the pavement,
Was too heavy with those swelled-up tears,
I sat beside you on the curb
All night long,
Keeping safe; I held you tight in my arms
Daybreak, this heartache is beating out of time,
It's under your bones, where the fire passively burns
Charring the memories of Fridays at the movies...
Snowflakes glitter your skin, extinguishing the blazing flames,
Hush my love,
This burden will soon depart...
Just don't let it make us part
As the cars pass, your emptiness now ceases to last
Eyes once dimmed like a burned out candle,
Alas my kiss stirs them awake:
A hot shiver thawing the ache
